Digital technologies are tools that enable learners to access a wealth of up-to-date digital resources, collaborate locally and globally, curate existing material, and create new material. They include electronic devices and tools that manage and manipulate information and data. Technology supports learning and should be integrated meaningfully into the delivery of a lesson. Active learning encourages students to take responsibility for their learning and supports them in becoming independent and confident learners both in school and beyond. Inclusion is an effort to make sure all students receive whatever specially designed instruction and support they need to succeed as learners. An inclusive approach identifies existing barriers that limit access to learning, then finds solutions and strategies to remove or reduce those barriers. • 11:30 Differentiated Instruction11:30 - 13:30Differentiation is a challenge. How do I support individual students’ learning needs in a group setting? Differentiated instruction is the adaptation of classroom tasks and activities for different ability levels, which enables all learners to achieve their highest potential. When instruction is differentiated, it allows a teacher to stretch and challenge all learners in their classroom. Instruction becomes more learner-centred and increasingly more individualised.
